Parenthood comes with big questions, and we believe you deserve clear, expert-led answers. Our mission is to provide parents with easy-to-follow, evidence-based mini classes that fit into busy lives – so you can spend less time worrying and more time enjoying parenthood.

Birdhouse started with two moms, two nurses, two lactation consultants and one big idea. Sarah and Michele met working in the hospital and quickly became friends–teaching classes together, supporting families before, during and after delivery, and running their own practices. Along the way, they kept hearing the same thing from moms: "I don't have time, but I need help." So they built Birdhouse as a place where parents can find quick, evidence-based, expert-led classes on everything from pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. It's like a motherhood toolbox–built by people who get it.

Michele

With over 30 years as a Registered Nurse and over 25 years as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Michele has dedicated her career to helping families navigate the beautiful, yet sometimes challenging, journey of parenthood. As a mother of 5, she understands the importance of compassionate care and individualized support for each family to help them "fly" in their parenting journey.
